We’re looking for an experienced Drainlayer Foreman to take the lead on a range of drainage and water-infrastructure projects across Christchurch. You’ll be joining a great crew that values quality work, safety, and teamwork, with plenty of opportunity to progress and build your career.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll oversee day-to-day drainage operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role involves interpreting plans, coordinating with engineers and contractors, and guiding your team to deliver excellent results. Maintaining accurate site records and promoting a strong safety culture will be key to your success.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in drainage, civil, or water-infrastructure projects

• Certified Drainlayer – preferred

• Level 4 Water Reticulation qualification – preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans

• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards

• Valid NZ driver’s licence (WTR and Class 2 endorsements preferred)
