About the Role
This Nelson-based role is ideal for someone ready to make a move now or after the holiday break, there’s flexibility to start before Christmas or kick off in the new year.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing asbestos removal projects from start to finish, managing crews on-site, ensuring compliance with all safety and legislative requirements, and maintaining project quality, efficiency, and documentation.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you’ll ensure jobs run on time and within budget, with a focus on safety, leadership, and effective communication.

What We’re Looking For

• NZQA Asbestos Removal Certificates A & B (Friable and Non-Friable)

• NZQA Asbestos Supervisor Certificate

• Full Driver Licence (company vehicle provided)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Experience managing asbestos removal crews

• Excellent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards

• Reliable, organised, and team-oriented
